Sustainability in the ART Laboratory survey

The International IVF Initiative (I3) is conducting a survey about sustainability in the In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) laboratory. 

The aim of this survey is to explore and understand global views and green actions within the IVF Laboratory.  Please answer each question thoughtfully and honestly. Your genuine responses will help us gain a comprehensive understanding of the current landscape and help to guide more tailored efforts towards creating a more sustainable IVF community. 

This survey is made up of 4 sections: 

(1) Demographic Information 

(2) What are your current views on sustainability? 

(3) What are your current green actions in the laboratory? 

(4) Do you feel supported to be sustainable?

This survey will take approximately 10-15 minutes of your time to complete. You may pause and resume the survey with your responses at any time within the survey active window which closes on the 5th September 2024.

A note on privacy and consent
This survey is being managed by Community Research, an independent research agency which will collect and process different types of data from you, including:

  1. Your views on sustainability: these will be anonymised, and we will not identify who said what in the information we provide to the research team.
  2. Your name and email address: we collect this so that the International IVF Initiative (I3) can keep you informed and involve you in future discussions, including sending you a copy of the research findings. You can decide whether or not we share this with the International IVF Initiative (I3) for this purpose. You can still answer other questions in the survey if you do not wish to leave your name and contact details.


To collect this information from you we need your consent. You can always withdraw your consent at any time by emailing Community Research at info@communityresearch.co.uk

Community Research will be using your personal data for the duration of the research and will store it securely for a maximum of 1 year from the end of the project for client contractual obligations and for quality control. With your consent, the International IVF Initiative (I3) will securely store your contact details and will use them to keep you informed and involved in discussions regarding AI.
