Introduction

This survey is specifically to give feedback on the draft pregnancy screening standards for Down’s syndrome, Edwards’ syndrome and Patau’s syndrome and mid-pregnancy ultrasound. A key element of developing our standards is to invite feedback. Your feedback is valuable to us.

All the comments and suggestions we receive will remain confidential and will be processed in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). They will only be used to help edit and improve the standards.

The consultation on the draft standards closes on Monday 19 August 2024 at 5pm. We will be unable to accept any responses after this date. All comments submitted will be treated with care and made anonymous. 

We are looking for feedback on the content of the standards. For example, we would welcome comments which cover:

• Wording that is unclear or requires clarification
• Potential gaps in the standards
• Additional references for consideration.

Responses will be considered by the Standards Development Group. The final standards will be published in December 2024.
