COST OF ENHANCED ACCESS NI CHECK

There is a £32 charge for the Enhanced AccessNI check. This £32 charge is made by AccessNI against Stranmillis College.

When you submit an Enhanced AccessNI check, your form comes to the Stranmillis College Academic Registry team to perform a number of checks before it is submitted to AccessNI.

One of the checks, carried out by the Academic Registry team is to ensure that you have made a payment of £32. This payment is made to the College as AccessNI charges the College for each submitted form.

The Stranmillis College AccessNI team will not process an enhanced AccessNI application unless the £32 fee has been paid.

Payment can be made through the link below - you will receive a payment reference number, for example #12345. Please do not enter the #. In this example, you would enter the reference number as 12345.

The payment for your Enhanced AccessNI check may be made through:

INFORMATION ABOUT THE ENHANCED ACCESS NORTHERN IRELAND CHECK BY APPLICANTS FOR COURSES INVOLVING WORK WITH CHILDREN AND/OR VULNERABLE ADULTS.

You have a place on a course leading to a post which is governed by the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups (Northern Ireland) Order 2007 (as amended by the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012).  It is our policy to ask for the relevant Enhanced check to be carried out by Access Northern Ireland. This check complies with the Access Northern Ireland Code of Practice (available here) and is to make sure those individuals who might be a risk to children and/or vulnerable adults are not admitted.

An Enhanced Access NI check will include a barred list check which will disclose an individual’s full criminal history, including spent and unspent convictions, relevant cautions and other relevant materials provided by the police including a barred list check.  Any information received will be treated confidentially, and we will talk to you about it before a final decision is reached.

CONSENT TO AN ENHANCED ACCESS NORTHERN IRELAND (BARRED LIST) CHECK

I understand that Enhanced Access Northern Ireland checks must be carried out before an offer can be confirmed. This has been explained to me and I am aware that spent convictions must be disclosed. I declare that the information I have given is accurate and I consent to the checks being made.
