Summer Youth Holiday Programme for Activities and Trips.
This survey will allow you to register to attend Youth Work events and visits.
This programme targets 11-16year olds.
Please book on to any sessions you plan to attend below and are open to everybody.
Sessions have limited availability and priority will be given to those attending youth work community programmes.
If you can no longer attend, you should contact Vibrantcommunities@east-ayrshire.gov.uk to cancel your booking.

Youth Work Programme Adventurous Trips.
We have a a number of trips running on Fridays for those attending youth work sessions. If you would like to attend, please ensure you attend the above sessions and note below which trips you will like to attend. Priority will be given to those who attend our youth work community sessions.
The visits are funded through Get in to Summer.
Get into Summer initiative is funding from Scottish Government to support the Childcare policy agenda and will fund those who meet the criteria noted below:
--Lone parent families.
--Families, which include a disabled adult or child.
--Larger families.
--Minority ethnic families.
--Families with a child under one year old.
--Families where the mother is under 25 years of age.
For those who do not meet the criteria, a charge of £10 will be required to attend each visit. This payment should be paid prior to attending the visit.
Visits available for you are:
Galloway Activity Centre: A day of outdoor fun, participating in watersports such as kayaking, paddleboarding, sailing and giant water inflatables. Leaving 9am returning 5pm.

Tuesday 5th July- FULL
Friday 8th July - FULL
Friday 12th August- FULL
All transport and lunch will be provided for the visits.
Scottish Assault Course, Newmilns: This day of activities will include an assault course team challenge and games of laser tag.

Friday 15th July. Leaving 10am and returning 4pm-

Troon Beach Trip: Young people will travel to Troon Beach with Youth Workers and enjoy a day at the beach, playing games and chilling out with friends. This visit is weather dependant. Leaving 10am and returning 4pm

Friday 22nd July
Newmilns Ski Slope: Young People will have a day learning to ski on Newmilns dry ski slope whilst also having some fun on the tubing. Leaving 9am and returning 4pm

Friday 29th July- FULL
Ice Skating and Picnic in the Park: Young People will visit Galleon Ice Rink in the morning for some fun on the ice before moving to Howard park for a picnic lunch and games in the park.
Friday 5th August
A packed lunch will be provided at all session so please ensure you note any dietary requirements you may have.
To attend visits, please ensure you have booked 1 week in advance, if you do not meet the get into summer criteria, you will be asked to make a payment prior to attending the visit.
Once booked on, you will be sent a consent form for the visit. Please complete this and send back to kerry.dair@east-ayrshire.gov.uk prior to the visit.

These sessions times will vary and be a visit away from the local area. You will be sent exact pick up locations once registered.
Participants will be transported, lunch provided and all activities paid for.
We will require a consent form to be completed prior to attending session and will organise this with you via email.

7. 5. Publicity photographs and video/film footage may be taken at our sessions and used by East Ayrshire Council for a period of 1 year in printed materials and on social media (including East Ayrshire Active Schools Twitter). I agree to photographs and/or film being taken of my child
8. For our Get into Summer trips and visits, Please advise if you meet any of the categories noted below. Due to funding constraints,a charge of £10 will be payable if you do not meet the criteria.
*Please note, this data will be kept confidential and only used for total figures of participation not individual cases.
9. East Ayrshire Council provide all children attending sessions during the Summer with a free packed lunch. If you would like a packed lunch can you please highlight below and let us know if your child/Young person has any specific dietary requirements.
Participants must be registered prior to attending.
You will NOT be emailed with confirmation of booking so please take a note of all activities you have signed up for. If we see that sessions are at capacity we will email to let you know your booking was not successful.
For trips and visits, we will require you to complete a consent form at least 48 hours prior to the visit. You will be emailed instructions.
The personal information we have requested from you is required to make contact with you incase of emergenices at out sessions. Your information will be used for this purpose only and processed and held securely in terms of Data Protection Legislation.
